The well effluent and water disposal agreement mirrors the gas processing agreement in most areas. It has additional clauses intended to cover the particular issues around liquid well effluent processing that are different than gas processing. One of these is the possibility of trucked-in volumes. The agreement can also be used as a waterdisposal agreement.

This agreement is also being reviewed, as is the gas processing agreement, by the 2004 task force on custom user agreements.
