Standard Terms & Conditions

The PJVA Standard Terms & Conditions - 2003 are intended to be usable with as many types of product handling service agreements as possible and therefore are general in nature - i.e. notices, liability and indemnity, force majeure, dispute resolution, applicable law and further assurances need to be addressed in virtually all agreements, while other terms such as measurement provisions, fees and termination provisions may vary with each circumstance and terms such as dedication of services may only apply in some cases.

The PJVA Standard Terms & Conditions - 2003 are intended to be used as an attachment to a "head document". A Letter Agreement is provided by way of example to illustrate what such a document might look like and the types of matters that it would need to address. Certain matters can be dealt with either in the head document or in another Exhibit. We have also included samples of what other Exhibits might look like and the issues that can be addressed in them, based in large part on the types of matters that are dealt with by way of Exhibits to the current PJVA model form agreements.
