PJVA Board of Directors Call for Nominations

The Petroleum Joint Venture Association (PJVA) requests a Call for Nominations to fill the following Board positions: JV Administration Representative in-training, Task Forces and Sponsorship Directors. Each role has a minimum two-year commitment to the Board.

Task Forces Director

The Task Forces Director is responsible for coordinating the various Task Forces engaged in maintaining and updating the current suite of PJVA Model Agreements, and initiating new Task Forces as required to develop new Model Agreements for use in industry.

Role and Responsibilities/Key Initiatives/Experience & Expectations

Marketing and Publicity Director

The Marketing and Publicity Director is responsible for the development and implementation of a marketing strategy to increase the visibility of the PJVA in industry, and to coordinate and direct communications with our membership, other industry associations, and industry at large through various platforms including newsletters, joint events, website and email.


The Treasurer serves on the Executive of the Board and is responsible for the accounting, financial, audit, and annual budgeting functions of the Association. The Treasurer will monitor and maintain a balanced budget for each fiscal year on behalf of the PJVA.

JV Certificate Program

Volunteer Position JV Certificate Program Volunteers are required!
Details: Volunteers are required for the JV Certificate Program Course to review and update course materials.
Amount of time required: These are longer term commitments – ideally, you will be ready to stay in the role for 1 or more years.

Time per week: 2 - 5 hours/month, varying based on work required and number of committee members available
  • 2+ years’ experience with completion of the JV Administration or JV Analyst Certificate Program; OR
  • 5+ years’ experience in a JV Administrator or JV Analyst role
Delivery skill set: Ideal candidates for this role exhibit some or all of the following skills:
  1. able to work in a confidential manner
  2. have current, relevant, industry experience and an understanding of the current PJVA Model agreements in use
  3. the ability to identify, research and summarize information from various sources
  4. able to write new material, or edit existing materials, in a clear and concise manner suitable for use as an educational resource
